IOWA FALLS welcomes RAGBRAI, the world’s oldest, largest, and longest recreational bike tour that rolls through Iowa every summer since 1973. As an overnight stop, we’re excited to welcome thousands of cyclists, showcase our community, and share the natural beauty of the Iowa River Greenbelt.

Nestled in Hardin County, Iowa Falls is a hidden gem, where towering limestone bluffs embrace the river’s winding path. Come for the ride, stay for the views, and make memories that last.

We are proud to host RAGBRAI for the 5th time! 1978, 1995, 2004, 2021, & 2025.

Housing Match

Riders: If you’re coming to town and need a place to stay, this is the spot to connect!
Residents: If you’d like to host riders in your home or yard, this is your chance to welcome them to our community!
